Chalice
Founded in 1194 by Fr. Patrick Cosgrove, Chalice (Canada) began operating out of the church rectory in Springhill, Nova Scotia. Through the years the core of Chalice has remained the same. They are a ministry of the Catholic Community, creating relationships of life and love wherever they serve.
Chalice commits over 90 percent of its spending in support of programs directly providing nutrition, education and shelter to over 49,000 children and the elderly in 15 developing countries. Chalice has supported 14 community projects, served over 5000 children through the Chalice Children Nutrition Fund, provided scholarships for 41 students and built over 100 houses in Haiti.
Chalice has a catalog to purchase items from as gifts, for those who have everything for example you can by a goat or a chicken for a family.
