Baptism Preparation

This ministry provides catechetics to parents and godparents seeking to have their children baptized. Lead by facilitators it includes an interactive session where parents and godparents discuss the sacrament and prepare families for living out their call to be Christian parents.

We as Catholics, heed the call of Christ to "let the Children come to me." Mark 10:14 Baptism of children is one of the greatest gifts that we give to our children. we, as parents and parish, promise to let our children know the faith that we hold so dear. "Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to the life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons and daughters of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission..."
