"Teacher," he said, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?" Jesus said to him, "What is written in the law? What do you read there?" He answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself." And he said to him, "You have given the right answer; do this, and you will live." - Luke 10: 25-28

The goal of religious education is to help the parish children to discover and experience God's presence in their lives, through the on-going religious formation in the Roman Catholic tradition. We prepare the children for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation so they will experience new growth and receive the gift of God's love.

Catechism Formation of Children is from level 1 to Level 8.

• Catechism instruction formation program for school aged children
• Attending Mass after is encouraged, as it is a part of the faith formation, helping the children understand the Mass and challenging families to see Mass as the high point of the Christian life.
• Prepare to receive the Sacraments of First Communion, First Reconciliation and Confirmation.
• Familiarize the children with devotional prayers such as The Way of the Cross and Rosary.
• Reconciliation for Grades 3 to 7 during Lent and Advent.
• Christmas party to celebrate Jesus' Birthday. (St. Nicholas Party)
• Year end Barbeque and yard clean up if weather permits.
